Newborn Intensive Care Unit
Providence Regional's Newborn Intensive Care Unit is operated in partnership with Seattle Children's Hospital and provides
the highest level of newborn intensive care in the Region. As a Level III
NICU, we are able to take care of infants as young as 24 weeks, handle newborn
emergencies and provide ongoing newborn intensive care. All rooms are located
in close proximity to nursing stations to help facilitate communication
with caregivers. The NICU unit was designed to accommodate families during
all hours of the day and offers a number of family-friendly amenities such
as family sleeping rooms, an area with TV and couches, kitchen with refrigerator
to store food, even a washer and dryer. |
