Pediatric Inpatient Services
The Pediatric Care unit specializes in the inpatient treatment of children from newborn to age 17 and is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week by a pediatric hospitalists—board certified pediatricians who specialize in caring for hospitalized patients. The unit treats everything from broken bones to appendicitis to the flu. A child-friendly environment, the unit has a special activity room with games, colorful etched glass walls and a 15-foot tropical aquarium, providing a fun and safe area for both patients and their siblings. Patient rooms are private with pull-out beds that can accommodate both mom and dad for overnight stays. |
